As a Host/Hostess at Sacred Pepper, you play a vital role in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. Your primary duties include greeting and seating guests, conveying daily specials, answering phones, taking reservations, ensuring table availability, and providing exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities:**
1. Monitor table rotation to balance wait staff workload.
2. Keep track of table status for new guests.
3. Answer phones, take reservations, and handle take-out orders.
4. Maintain a friendly and professional phone demeanor.
5. Set and clear tables efficiently during peak times.
6. Gather feedback from departing guests.
7. Understand Open Table system functions.
8. Utilize technology for table assignments and waitlist management.
9. Input reservations and waiting list information accurately.
10. Handle To-Go orders and maintain To-Go certification.
11. Present daily specials enthusiastically.
12. Demonstrate genuine hospitality and use respectful language.
13. Maintain professionalism in interactions.
14. Prioritize guest satisfaction and service.
15. Assist in creating a positive team environment.
16. Uphold and embody Sacred Pepper's culture.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience.
- Certification in Food Handling and Responsible Vending post-hire.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math, reading, and problem-solving abilities.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 20-30 pounds.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
