**Job Summary:**
The Server at Sacred Pepper is a crucial team member responsible for providing exceptional service during guests' dining experiences. Servers act as guides, communicators, decision-makers, and entertainers, ensuring guests have a positive dining experience through genuine hospitality. They are also tasked with taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

**Responsibilities:**
- Prepare the dining area by setting tables and ensuring cleanliness
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages, and relay orders to the kitchen
- Serve patrons by delivering orders and accompaniments promptly
- Address any additional needs or special requests from guests
- Manage table settings, refill glasses, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
- Conclude dining experiences with a friendly invitation for guests to return
- Handle payment transactions and issue bills accurately
- Contribute to team efforts and assist with various tasks as needed
- Uphold responsible alcohol service guidelines and maintain product knowledge
- Utilize upselling techniques and provide exceptional guest service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Direct guests to restrooms, assist with guest needs, and create memorable experiences

- Follow uniform guidelines and food safety procedures

**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma/GED with 1-2 years of experience
- Certification in Certified Food Handler & Responsible Vending (post-hire)
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to handle math calculations and money transactions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Capacity to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items, and move around the restaurant
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Friendly demeanor and willingness to take initiative
- Commitment to safety measures, food sanitation procedures, and customer satisfaction
